Job description
Do you get excited about crafting components with that sleek, high quality finish? As a Shot Peening Operator, you will be responsible for applying the finishing touches to our high-quality stainless steel components and machinery. You will ensure that every part receives a perfectly smooth finish and meets our high quality standards. Your duties will include the following:
• Blasting of various stainless steel components in our modern shot peening cabinet.
• Staining and carrying out post-treatment procedures in accordance with the applicable regulations.
• Monitoring the quality of the blasting work and the finish.
• Proactively signaling inconsistencies and coordinating with your manager to resolve them.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy worklplace.
Who you are
Whether you’re fine-tuning a small component down to the last detail or tackling a larger project, you always work with care and precision. You have an eye for detail and aren’t satisfied until the product looks perfect. You’ll also recognise yourself in the following:
• You are enthusiastic, keen to learn and enjoy working in a clean environment.
• You’re good at working independently, but you’re also a great team player.
• Experience with shot peening or surface treatment is an advantage, but we’re also happy to teach you on the job.
• You have a proactive approach to work and enjoy getting things done.
